Lamb’s Players Theatre History

The history of the Lamb’s Players Theatre goes all the way back to 1971, at Bethel College in St. Paul, MN. In 1971, Lamb’s Players Theatre was incorporated as a non-profit organization by a professor at the college and his student, who both had a passion for local theatre. Realizing the limited potential of Minnesota, the founders and their wives headed out to Southern California. Now, they employ a full-time staff of costume designers, directors, playwrights, and actors that perform to an annual audience of 100,000! They also have a passion for education and the education outreach troupe, The Road Crew, visit schools all around California to inspire future actors.
